CtrlS Breaks Ground on State-of-the-Art 700 MW Datacenter Park Near Hyderabad

The datacenter campus is slated to go live with phase-1 by H1 FY:27-28

Hyderabad, India – September 8, 2025 – CtrlS Datacenters, today announced the commencement of construction for its next-generation datacenter park on a sprawling 40-acre land parcel at Chandanvelly Industrial Park, approximately 50 km southwest of Hyderabad, Telangana. The groundbreaking ceremony marks a significant milestone as CtrlS accelerates its mission to strengthen India’s digital infrastructure and support the region’s growing demand for secure, resilient, and sustainable datacenters. The first phase of the campus is expected to be operational by H1 FY:27-28, offering critical capacity to hyperscalers, enterprises and Govt entities.

The newly planned campus has been expanded to accommodate a revised IT load capacity of 700 MW, reinforcing CtrlS’s commitment to delivering high-performance and scalable digital infrastructure. Plans underway for dedicated infrastructure including a Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) expandable up to 900 MW, the facility is set to become one of the most advanced datacenter parks in the APAC region.

The investment underscores CtrlS’s long-term commitment to enabling digital growth, innovation, and sustainable development in India.

“Today’s ground-breaking is more than just the start of a construction project — it’s a leap toward the future of India’s AI economy,” said Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder & CEO of CtrlS Group. “With an IT load of 700 MW, and the first phase going live within the next 18 months, our Hyderabad campus is designed to meet the surging demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital services, while ensuring the highest standards of energy efficiency, reliability, and security.”

The state-of-the-art facility will feature:

  • Multiple high-density and AI-ready interconnected datacenter buildings, designed to meet diverse workloads and industry requirements.
  • 400kv GIS with approved sanction power of 700MVA from two separate 400 KV EHS Sub-station
  • Renewable energy integration, including solar, wind and hydro.
  • Future-ready infrastructure, supported by a scalable power setup expandable to 900 MW.

This project is CtrlS’s fourth facility in Telangana and is part of the company’s larger vision to expand its footprint across Asia and the Middle East. In addition to the Hyderabad campus, CtrlS had recently inaugurated its new datacenter campus in Chennai, at an investment of INR 4,000 crore – reinforcing its leadership in the Indian Datacenter landscape.

Hyderabad’s strategic location, infrastructure, and growing role as a technology hub make it an ideal choice for this facility. With an expected surge in data-driven services, cloud adoption, and digital transformation across industries, the new campus will play a critical role in supporting both regional and global enterprises.
